All
paintings are created by giving careful attention to every stage of the
process, using museum quality artist materials and
traditional methods, designed to preserve each painting
for generations to come. The
artist's commissioned works include custom portraits, house
portraits, pet portraits, as well as custom landscapes and florals.
Many of Karen's works are
available as Limited Edition Gicleé prints, on both paper and canvas.
Gicleé prints represent the highest quality archival digital reproduction
possible of the original artwork. The prints are created using the most
technologically advanced fine art print making process, fade resistant inks,
and acid free paper or canvas. All original paintings and reproductions are
framed and matted with museum quality archival materials.
Karen has been creating art from a very early age,
and has studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Karen Cleary has received national
awards and recognition for her work. The Hudson Valley Art Association chose
Karen's work "Ogunquit Summer Surf" for inclusion in their 74th annual
exhibition of realist works at the Newington-Cropsey gallery in Hastings-on-Hudson.
Other highlights include the publication of Katie ~ The Rose Garden
by the University of Southern Maine, in its annual edition of Words and Images. Manhattan Arts International gave her work an Award
of Excellence for beauty and quality. Karen's
work frequently appears in shows and Galleries throughout New
York and New England.
